Poster Collection #211
Folded one sheet for the amazing Blood Beach. I really love this poster, it is so great it instantly makes you want to watch the movie, and that is exactly what we are missing with posters of today. I had to frame this one right when I got it, utter nostalgia.
Poster Collection #210
Here is a true classic, the Troma deranged mother epic Mother's Day. This is a folded original one sheet in OK condition. It does have duct tape covering the rating that I have tried to remove and have had no luck. I really love the film, so to have the one sheet is nice. Total 80's camp!
Poster Collection #209
This is a very rare, very cool folded one sheet for the little known slasher Final Exam. This one sheet is in OK condition and you can see some tape covering the rating which I eventually peeled off without damaging the poster after this pic was taken. I really love this poster and I really haven't seen to many of these. The film itself is a guilty pleasure of the highest order.
Poster Collection #208
Here is a folded video poster for The Last Slumber Party. This movie looks like a rip-off of Slumber Party Massacre, and the poster is very simaler. I like this poster, even if it is a rip-off of a better film.
Poster Collection #206
This is a cool little video poster for Midnight. It is rolled and in perfect condition. Pretty great art on this one. This is a rare video poster from the good old 80's.
Poster Collection #205
Here it is, the one, the only....Chopping Mall. This is an original folded one sheet in great condition. This poster is soooo classic, just excellent art from the best decade for horror movies...the 80's. This is yet another one I remember from the VHS cover when I was a kid. The film is also know as Killbots, which is a great name, but I prefer Chopping Mall.
Poster Collection #204
"Please do not disturb Evelyn, she already is" This is a folded original one sheet for the crazy film Mountaintop Motel Massacre. I remember seeing this VHS back in the day, but I never got up the nerve to rent it. To this day I still have not seen it, but I LOVE the poster, It makes me laugh every time I see it, and it is super rare as well.
Poster Collection #203
This is by far my favorite French poster I own, This is an original theatrical poster for my favorite kids film from the 80's...The Gate. This poster is huge and is in really great shape. The other two Gate posters I have are very different from this one, I really like how it is a view from inside the hole and shows the little deamon creatures from the movie on the bottom. I have never seen this paticular poster before, so it is really rare and special to me personally.
Poster Collection #202
Here is a great little video poster for one of the best 80's rock n roll horror movies...Trick r Treat. This poster really rocks and actually represents the film quite well.
Poster Collection #201
This is one epic looking one sheet. 1990: The Bronx Warriors is a film directed by the great Enzio G. Castellari. I love this one sheet, the art work is just out of control, I love when posters feature more than one scene, and this one captures that perfectly.
Poster Collection #200
To celebrate my 200th poster post I thought I would go with something special. I am a huge fan of older Troma films including Surf Nazis Must Die!, Toxie, Graduation Day, War, Mothers Day, Blades, Class of Nuke'em High, Luther The Geek, Redneck Zombies and a Tromatastic little movie called Blood Hook. The film is very cheesy and very low budget, which makes this film great where as it would hurt a lot of other films. The poster art is really great and it captures that fun campy feel of some of these older Troma films. This one sheet came directly from the Troma studios in NY and for some reason is signed twice by Lloyd Kaufman, I guess two is better than one. this one sheet is in great condition.
Poster Collection #199
"Should old Acquaintance be forgot? Or just brutally murdered." This video poster for Bloody New Year is a rare gem. Once again it has the classic skull theme I love so much. This poster represents the campy fun that horror films from the 80's captured so well. I had to frame this one right away, it is too great to be kept rolled in a tube.
Poster Collection #198
"You have the right to remain silent...forever" Ahhh yes, the Maniac Cop rolled one sheet is a great poster, and a great film. There are a few different styles of one sheets for this film, this one is OK but not my favorite. The film has an appearance by cult legend Bruce Campbell and stars Tom Atkins and it is directed by the legendary director William Lustig, who recently has brought us the epic DVD company Blue Underground.
This is the highly sought after Monster Squad rolled one sheet and it is in great condition. Many people who grew up in the 80's recognize this poster, excellent kids horror movie with a cool poster to go with it. I love the universal monsters in the background, it is so eye catching, and since it is a rare one sheet it usually goes for quite a bit of $, I paid $10 so I am happy.
Poster Collection #197
"Ahhhhhhh, The Shiiiiiiiiit!" Rolled video poster for the awesome anthology know as Tales From The Hood, one of my personal favorite anthologies. The poster is in great shape and has a cool image of a skull with a gold tooth and glasses, you really can't go wrong with that. A lot of older posters featured skulls on them, something you just don't see anymore. I guess I am just a sucker for skulls.
Poster Collection #196
I got this poster in a Lot of 12 posters and it was labeled as The Exterminator (the classic 80's poster with the image of guy with motorcycle helmet and blowtorch) what I end up with instead is Exterminators Of The Year 3000. I have never heard of this movie but the poster is actually kind of cool. It is a folded one sheet.
Poster Collection #195
Here is a folded one sheet for the 70's classic The Toolbox Murders. This one has some damage including a few rips and what looks like soda sprayed across the bottom half. So it is really fragile and somewhat damaged but I still think it is a great poster, the artwork is excellent 70's exploitation.
Poster Collection #194
Look whats buried inside your television! Now this is a classic, a rolled video poster for the micro budgeted zombie film The Video Dead. This is the second video dead poster I own and it is equally as cool as the other one. This was the cover of the VHS back in the 80's when this came out. Even though this movie looks like it was shot by some high school kids on the weekends in their backyard, it is really fun. The film has a certain charm about it. I have been searching for this poster for a while, and it finally paid off. This one cost me about $8 and is worth a whole lot more.
Poster Collection #193
Teenage Wasteland. This is a beautiful video poster for the epic 1989 slasher Sleepaway Camp 3. It is rolled and in near perfect condition, I framed this one as soon as I got it. I am a huge fan of the sleepaway camp films (part 2 is my favorite) and part 3 is a masterpiece. The poster is a perfect representation of the film and the fun campy horror it is. All of the Sleepaway posters are fantastic and this one is no exception, pure slasher fun, the way it was meant to be.
Unseen Art
Here is the poster for Friday the 13th that they passed on for the super plain one, this poster is absolutly amazing.
